About Me

Hello!  My name is Olivia Quertermous, and I’m a Junior at Vienna High School.  I am involved with 4H, FFA, Speech and Debate, National Beta Club, Future Educators Club, Youth for Christ, 4H Teen Leaders, FBLA, Pep Club, and softball.  This year, I am taking all Dual Credit classes through Shawnee Community College to hopefully achieve my goal of graduating with my Associate’s Degree in May 2028.  I am very involved with advocacy, serving as a member of both the Illinois State Board of Education and Illinois Student Assistance Committee advisory councils.  Outside of school and CEO, I raise and show Boer goats on my family’s farm.

 I joined CEO so I could form real-world business connections, prepare myself for a future in the workforce, and gain entrepreneurial experience.  I plan to have a career in business or agricultural communications after college, so forming workplace connections early is very important to my success.  CEO is helping me take steps towards my goal of having a successful career by giving me the opportunity to learn, grow, and fail in a space that’s designed to make students successful after the conclusion of the program.
