About Me

Hello, I’m Jianna Westerfield, a senior at Goreville High School with aspirations of starting an art business. Throughout my high school years, I have competed in several art competitions acquiring local, state, and national championships with the support of my art teacher and Beta sponsors. Through these experiences, I have learned what opportunities are available for aspiring artists. Reflecting on my experiences, I want to supplement art education with business education to help me succeed in the art industry. My education, combined with my ability to critically evaluate opinions and perspectives sets me up for success.

This program will enable me to kick start an art business that I can carry through my college education in Plaster Architecture. I hope to be an example of what can be achieved regardless of where you come from. I am grateful to the community leaders for this opportunity to be able to launch my art career.
