Happy Tuesday everyone!!!
Today our CEO students got their professional headshots taken at Kingdom Beats. They each took two photos to use for future portfolios. Some insight that Bryan shared is that not all headshots have to be smiling. Some professions require a more serious one.
This was also a social event, where they got to meet several of our board members. Both our board members and our students were very excited to meet and talk to each other. Our students had to introduce themselves and try to have a conversation with every board member.
Our students' favorite skills worked on today are conversation skills, handshakes, how to dress for the job you want, how to pose for professional photos, and planning meetings. These skills were developed by either talking with board members and business owners or when taking the photos.
Thank you Bryan Bert from Kingdom Beats for taking the time to take not only our individual headshots but also our group photos. Your energy was truly inspiring, and especially helpful to start our day off on a good note.
