This morning was our last day of CEO for the Johnson County CEO Class of 2026! What an incredible first year it has been filled with growth, learning, challenges, opportunities, and unforgettable experiences. We spent the morning celebrating all that this class has accomplished while also taking time to reflect on how much each student has grown both personally and professionally throughout the year.

From the very beginning, these students embraced every opportunity that came their way. They stepped outside of their comfort zones, built relationships with local business leaders, developed professional skills, launched businesses, practiced teamwork, and learned the importance of communication, leadership, accountability, and perseverance. Watching their confidence grow over the course of the year has been truly rewarding.

This class helped shape the foundation for the future of Johnson County CEO, and their impact will continue long after this first year. We are incredibly proud of each one of these young professionals and excited to see them spread their wings as they move into adulthood, future careers, college, entrepreneurship, and beyond. The skills, experiences, and connections they gained through CEO will no doubt continue to benefit them for years to come.

A program like CEO would not be possible without the support of so many people in our community. We are deeply thankful for our investors, board members, mentors, business hosts, guest speakers, and community partners who poured their time, wisdom, encouragement, and resources into our students this year. Your investment in these young people is making a lasting difference.
