Business Visit: Iron Knight's Welding

This morning, the class had the opportunity to visit Iron Knight’s Welding and tour the workshop alongside owner Alex Knight. Alex shared his entrepreneurial journey, explaining how he launched the business in 2017 out of his father’s garage and has since grown it into a thriving operation just outside Goreville. The business now includes several buildings, with plans to add another facility later this year.

During the visit, Alex highlighted some of their recent large-scale projects, including work completed for the new sports complex in Marion. Iron Knight’s Welding fabricated the dugouts, bleachers, handrails, shades, and much more—showcasing the skill, precision, and growth of the company.
