Business visit: Art Gallery Off the Square

This morning, the CEO class had the privilege of visiting Joe and Marie Emery at their inspiring art gallery in Vienna. The Emerys currently feature 45 local artists, all within a 60-mile radius, offering an incredible variety of artwork—every piece available for purchase.

Joe shared how they began with just 10 artists, a great reminder that small beginnings, paired with persistence and hard work, can lead to remarkable growth.

Students also received a look inside Joe’s impressive 3,000 sq. ft. studio, where he creates mixed-media pieces—each with its own unique story. The gallery also includes a classroom space used for hands-on workshops taught by the Emerys or other local artists.
