Business Visit: Sweet Persimmon Farm

❄️ A light dusting of snow made the perfect backdrop for our business visit this morning! ❄️
The CEO students were welcomed by Toby and Danielle Hausman at their beautiful Christmas tree farm.

The Hausmans shared their vision of growing their property into an agritourism destination. While Toby continues to work full time, Danielle manages many of the day-to-day operations—and together they’re teaching their children the value of hard work by involving them in projects around the farm.

Their advice to our CEO students as they prepare to launch their individual businesses:
✨ Grow at a pace you can manage and financially sustain.
✨ Don’t overwhelm yourself—burnout can lead to setbacks.
✨ Take breaks when needed, even when the to-do list is long.
✨ Build your network—many in your industry are willing to help rather than compete.
